"I just wanted to connect with you and thank you personally for the movement you started on the playa. My camp is Camp NYCHI. We are a NYC based camp. One of the things I offer to the playa is a BBQ! I would love to collaborate with you and the blackburnerproject. Maybe the family reunion can be a cookout?! No one does a cookout like us! Hahaha. Also I would love to work with you and support with future projects for black burners. I hope your burn was exactly what it needed to be."

"Many of those I crossed paths with post gathering were still digesting the experience. I would walk up to every black person on the playa and ask them if they were there. If they weren't... they were aware it occurred and truly sad to have missed it for whatever reason. And the ones that were... led to us launching into the most beautiful dialogue rooted in appreciation for the presence of our people on the playa. That was truly something special. "I was at the shoot. This was my first burn and I was in search of the POC camp all week. When I finally found it they alerted me that the photo shoot was happening in less than 20 minutes! | rode happy hearted out to the man and was flooded with tears to see a vibrant bubble of melanin and voices of protest and power. To walk side by side with black folk in the desert calibrated something missing and core to my being. I will carry this essential vibe with me forever. Thank you for listening to your imagination and heart...when we do we change the world."

Erin!!!! I didn't even realize how fulfilling it was to see you in IG Live every week until you took a break! Without a burn to prep for for 2 years, you're the strongest and most consistent connection to playa for so many of us, and I want to thank you for AAAALLLLLL the things you do in this world. Your contributions are beyond impactful for so many, and I'm so happy that you exist in this world. You touch so many with your important work, and especially with your heart.
