"I was at the shoot. This was my first burn and I was in search of the POC camp all week. When I finally found it they alerted me that the photo shoot was happening in less than 20 minutes! | rode happy hearted out to the man and was flooded with tears to see a vibrant bubble of melanin and voices of protest and power. To walk side by side with black folk in the desert calibrated something missing and core to my being. I will carry this essential vibe with me forever. Without a burn to prep for for 2 years, you're the strongest and most consistent connection to playa for so many of us, and I want to thank you for AAAALLLLLL the things you do in this world.
