The Pendant of Power & Protection was created during the making of The Barbershop Project in 2024.
Originally designed as a private gift for core team members and select donors, this piece was never meant to be mass produced. It was a symbol of gratitude, protection, and shared purpose.
In the midst of building a space centered on Black men’s healing, safety, strength, and vulnerability, designing this pendant became my creative anchor. Every symbol etched into it was chosen with intention.

At the top, it reads Black! Asé (And so it is). At the center, a reminder: I Am Light (a reminder- the power is within. You have all you need inside)
This is more than jewelry.

Only a limited number remain from the original 2024 production run.
Once these are gone, this exact version will not be recreated. If produced again, the design will evolve.
